Good to know
- Dohr is an early release.
- Dohr is not on Google Play. You install it from this page, so Android asks you to allow installing apps from unknown sources.
Key features
- Run several clones of the same app, each with its own data and login.
- Give every clone its own name, or use an automatic naming template.
- Automatic clone numbers, shown as a badge on each clone’s icon.
- Dashboard grouped by original app, with search, sort and filters.
- Per-clone storage info, clear cache or data, notifications on or off, backup and restore.
- Home-screen shortcuts for single clones.
- Compatibility check before cloning: 32/64-bit, split APKs, Google services and storage.
- No root, no ads, no accounts, no tracking. Dohr itself makes no network requests.
How to install
- Tap Download APK and save the file.
- Your browser may warn you because the file is not from Google Play. Tap Download anyway.
- Open the downloaded file from your notifications or the Downloads folder.
- If Android asks, allow Install unknown apps for your browser or file manager.
- Tap Install, then open Dohr.
Permissions
- Internet and network stateOnly so cloned apps can reach their own servers. Dohr’s own code sends nothing.
- See installed appsTo list your installed apps so you can choose what to clone.
- Foreground service, wake lock, start at bootTo keep clones running and restore them after the phone restarts.
- NotificationsSo clones can show their own notifications. You can turn them off for each clone.
- Camera, microphone, location, contacts, calendar, phone state, photos and media, BluetoothDeclared only so cloned apps can use these features. None is granted at install – Android asks the first time a clone needs one.
- Google push, Play licensing and billingDeclared so cloned apps that rely on them can work. Dohr itself has no purchases or ads.
Not requested: SMS, call log, background location, usage stats, all-files access, installing apps, drawing over other apps.
Privacy
Free with no ads, analytics, telemetry, tracking SDKs or accounts. Your clone list and settings stay on your phone.
Based on the open-source NewBlackbox engine (Apache-2.0).
